First Date: Arial Mirren, Carter Cross & the Ghosts of Carnovasch Estate

Arial Mirren and Carter Cross’s first date leads them into the haunted Carnovasch Estate, where a child ghost asks them to uncover a sealed tomb.

Their relationship has changed after Arial’s break with her mother and move into the Donnerly home. Carter no longer reacts to her provocations the way he once did, and the longtime rivals finally acknowledge the attraction beneath their arguments. An evening together should let them discover whether that connection can survive outside a crisis.

Instead, they encounter the apparition of a little girl and follow her through the abandoned mansion. A dated family portrait identifies her as Rosemary Carnovasch. She guides the couple into the basement and points toward a brick wall that should not be there. Behind it lie the remains of Rosemary and her father Emilio, sealed away after robbers attacked the estate two centuries earlier.

Rob Fields’s “First Date” combines teenage romance, haunted-house mystery, Strickfield history, and the continuing Carnovasch family tragedy. Arial and Carter must help two lost spirits receive recognition before they can decide what their first kiss means for the future. The revised metadata preserves the story title while naming both characters and the haunted estate for series continuity. Story by Rob Fields.
