Tell us your phone model, iOS version, the app version/build and what happened. Include the episode title if the issue involves a particular show. Please do not send passwords, notification tokens or setup codes.
New shows
Open Settings → Episode updates → Check for new shows. An internet connection is needed to fetch updates and stream episodes. Saved catalog pages remain available offline; audio is not downloaded for offline listening.
Notifications
Choose “All new episodes,” or select the shows, authors, themes and collections you want. Then tap Enable notifications and allow them in the phone’s Settings. Following a collection only adds a browsing shortcut. It does not subscribe you to alerts. Check your notification status and quiet hours if alerts appear to be missing. Tapping an alert opens episode details; it does not start playback.
Turn alerts off
Use Turn off notifications. To erase this phone’s registration and alert choices, use Remove my notification data. Leave the app connected until it confirms completion. If offline, reopen it when connected; you can immediately block alerts in the phone’s Settings.
Playback
Tap Play or Resume to start audio. The sleep timer pauses playback at the selected time. Press Play on the Lock Screen or Resume in the app when you want to continue. Audio depends on the original podcast host and an internet connection. If audio will not start, check your connection, volume and selected speaker/headphones, then try Play again.
Your library
Favorites, history and Following stay on this device and do not automatically sync to another phone. Deleting the app can remove its local data. Reset controls are in Settings; removing notification data is a separate action and preserves your library.
Content
Weekly Spooky is intended for mature listeners. Some individual stories are family friendly, but the overall catalog contains horror, disturbing themes, violence and explicit language.
For privacy requests, email the same address. No listener account is required. Favorites, listening history and Following shortcuts are stored on your phone.
