Camp Dead and Buried — This Summer is Hot and DEADLY

On the hottest night in Indiana history, the remaining counselors at Camp Elderberry discover that the final night of summer can become a massacre.

It is 1980, and the rundown camp is better known as Camp Dead and Buried. While the senior counselors plan one last party and the younger staff finish a tabletop adventure, the oppressive heat makes the dark woods feel increasingly hostile. Then fire and arrows cut through the cabins, forcing the counselors to turn camp games, half-remembered survival lessons, and sheer nerve into a desperate escape.

John Oak Dalton’s story blends period summer-camp slasher horror, survival suspense, Vietnam-era trauma, and gallows humor without revealing who makes it out of the final night alive.
