Dead Silent Night: Peppermint Ray, Santa’s Killer Elf & a Very Naughty Man

On Christmas Eve, Santa’s killer elf Peppermint Ray arrives to punish Derek—a man whose secret basement earns him a place on a very special naughty list.

Derek has escaped Christmas judgment since childhood. He talked his way past Ray once and killed the next elves sent to correct the mistake, growing into a wealthy predator who treats other people as disposable. When the jingling assassin returns with a curved sword and a man-eating reindeer called Brute Cake, Derek believes another clever lie or improvised weapon can save him.

The house becomes a battlefield of garland garrotes, burning gingerbread flesh, razor-edged ornaments, and weaponized holiday magic. But the women and children hidden below are still capable of believing in Santa—and their faith gives Ray exactly what he needs. The arrival of the man in red turns a home invasion into a supernatural rescue mission where presents, punishment, and arson all belong to the same Christmas miracle.

David O’Hanlon’s “Dead Silent Night” is an adults-only Christmas horror story filled with killer elves, a monstrous reindeer, dark comedy, graphic violence, and a vicious reversal of the naughty-list tradition. Peppermint Ray delivers festive creature-feature mayhem for listeners who prefer their holiday stories bloody, profane, and far from silent. Story by David O’Hanlon.
