Maggie Blue — A Psychic Murder Mystery Inside a Sanitarium

A young therapist enters a locked sanitarium to study a mute killer whose drawings reveal murders he could never have witnessed—including her own.

Maggie Gillespie has always felt safest wearing blue. On her first day at San Pascualito Federal Sanitarium, she is assigned to Patient Thirty-Seven, a silent man who has spent forty years drawing crime scenes from different decades. His newest picture shows Maggie in the saffron dress she is wearing, bloodied by an attack that has not happened yet. When she arranges his work as a timeline, a pattern emerges connecting infamous killings, her father’s death, and someone much closer than she expects.

David O’Hanlon’s psychological horror mystery blends institutional dread, remote viewing, serial murder, and a heroine forced to decide whether the man behind the barrier is a killer or a witness. The drawings know where evil has been—and where it is going next.
