After surviving a supernatural fire tower, a former park ranger accepts a night-security job in an isolated warehouse—and discovers another set of rules designed to keep impossible things contained.

Michael Kelso’s complete two-part horror story follows a desperate new guard through password-locked doors, color-coded patrol routes, missing employees, experimental creatures, and a black line he has been warned never to follow. The building appears ordinary from outside, but its cameras watch only the interior and every locked room suggests the rules protect more than company property.

As the night deepens, doors open by themselves, inhuman test subjects move through the corridors, and someone claiming to be his supervisor may not be human. Completing each patrol becomes a fight to distinguish real instructions from traps—and to survive until the doors unlock at nine in the morning.
