Portals Part 2 of 5 — A Rescue Mission Across Vampire Strickfield

Arial Mirren has been carried away by a giant vampire bat, forcing Felicia and Bella to launch a rooftop rescue across the ruins of alternate Strickfield.

Felicia reveals the full strength of her mutant spider form while Bella Taibon brings Master Vampire speed to the chase. After they recover Arial, the survivors compare everything they know about this undead Earth and reach a dangerous conclusion: escaping again will only postpone the next attack. To end the cycle, they must locate the technology opening portals between worlds and destroy it before more mortals are dragged through as food.

Part two divides the team for a covert mission. Bella, Felicia, and Carter Cross create a moving distraction while Madelyne Donnerly, Eileen, and Arial drive toward Mayor Patrick Gunter’s office searching for answers. The plan brings them closer to the source of the vampire invasion—but Mayor Gunter commands an army, and the holding cells awaiting intruders are designed to drain even supernatural strength.
