Portals Part 3 of 5 — The Dracula Curse That Created Vampire Earth

Imprisoned beneath the Strickfield Nuclear Power Plant, the team finally hears how Mayor Patrick Gunter helped turn an entire alternate Earth into a vampire apocalypse.

Ten years earlier, Gunter was losing a mayoral race to Harmony Mirren when a mysterious partner offered him victory and dominion over far more than Strickfield. Their search for ultimate power led beneath the haunted Carnovasch Estate to a chained chest containing the imprisoned essence of Dracula. Opening it transformed the conspirators, spread eternal night across the planet, and left a new vampire population desperate for human blood.

Part three reveals why the nuclear plant matters: Gunter’s forces combine forbidden Mirren magic, stolen technology, and reactor power to open doorways into other universes and harvest mortals for food. As the captives learn what created this world and what the vampires intend to do next, Arial’s anger begins awakening powers left behind by Queen Arcadia—possibly the only force capable of breaking their cells.
