Portals Part 1 of 5 — Strickfield Falls into a Vampire Universe

A supernatural tornado carries six Strickfield friends into an alternate Earth where vampires rule, daylight is gone, and familiar families have become predators.

Arial Mirren is rebuilding her life with Madelyne Donnerly after breaking Queen Arcadia’s possession and being disowned by her parents. A trip home from Strickfield Towne Centre Mall should be routine—until the storm drops Arial, Madelyne, Carter Cross, Eileen Donnerly, Bella Taibon, and Felicia Mirren into a nightmare version of their town. A vampire mob destroys their vehicle, Madelyne’s own parents attack, and the group’s hidden powers can no longer remain secret.

Part one launches Rob Fields’ five-chapter Strickfield crossover with a daylight-walking Master Vampire, a mutant spider girl, the white witch Mary Worth, monster-fighting technology, and a world connected to their own by unstable portals. When a giant bat seizes Arial and carries her into the endless night, the new team faces its first impossible rescue.
