I Used to Work in a Fire Tower with a Strange Set of Rules Part 2 — The Black-Line Patrol

Trapped inside a warehouse where painted lines control reality, a night guard follows a trail of blood onto the forbidden black route—and walks into a monster ambush.

Part two resumes on the endless staircase created when the former fire-tower ranger broke one of his new job’s rules. A cryptic text returns him to the hallway, but the remaining patrols still must be completed before morning. Blood leads away from the approved colored paths, the doors lose their numbers, and a winged creature joins a smaller faceless thing in closing off every escape.

Michael Kelso’s strange-rules horror finale expands the night shift into a secret testing facility filled with doppelgängers, impossible rooms, frozen creatures, and a floor that becomes lava. The missing Mr. Larson may be an ally—or another trap—and surviving until the day staff arrives means deciding which rules protect the guards and which were designed to sacrifice them.
