Lady Frankenstein: A Vampire Creation’s Christmas Rampage Through Strickfield

Vincent Frankenstein builds a woman from corpses on December 23—then discovers her new head belonged to a vampire and unleashes her on Strickfield.

Using the lost journals of ancestor Henry Frankenstein, Vincent perfects an ultraviolet ray capable of restoring dead animals without aggression. His human experiment combines preserved body parts with the head and brain of athlete Annabeth Winters. Lightning brings the creation to life, but glowing red eyes, supernatural healing, and no reflection reveal why Annabeth died from blood loss.

The newborn vampire breaks free and follows Christmas lights toward Strickfield, feeding in decorated neighborhoods and attacking holiday shoppers at the Towne Centre Mall. Vincent’s pursuit joins him with Stevie, a violent survivor who knows vampires personally and wants the creature destroyed. Their quarry, however, is learning desire as quickly as hunger—and an encounter with student Reggie gives her a reason to survive beyond Christmas Eve.

Rob Fields’s “Lady Frankenstein” fuses Frankenstein lore, vampire horror, a Christmas rampage, mad science, and the Strickfield universe. The revised notes name Vincent, Annabeth, Stevie, Reggie, and the creation’s hybrid nature while preserving the monstrous possibility growing beyond her creator’s control. Story by Rob Fields.
