A year later, her mother leads a desperate search party into the woods during another oncoming blizzard, following missing-person rumors and a backwoods address that feels like a trap. They find abandoned houses, vanished cell service, and warnings about ghouls, cannibals, and dead children walking—then they find Veronica, or what she has become.
