Halloween night turns into a horror story! The Pendleton Haunted Hayride promises safe scares and small-town fun—until the rules start breaking themselves.

Colette and her friends just wanted caramel apples, spooky lights, and a few harmless jumps. But as the wagon rolls deeper into the fog, every stop grows darker… and every “scene” feels a little too real.

When the lights go out and the screams don’t sound staged anymore, the group realizes they’re part of a horror show that isn’t supposed to exist.

With the perfect mix of haunted attraction chills, classic slasher tension, and Halloween-night atmosphere, this story will make you think twice before getting off the wagon.

metal scrapes, and a voice reminds you rules are rules.

00:00:12.439 --> 00:00:16.839
Then a skeleton drops and axe swings, and the hay

00:00:17.000 --> 00:00:22.640
beneath your boots turn slick. Climb off this wagon and

5
00:00:22.760 --> 00:00:24.320
you'll never climb back on.

6
00:00:25.280 --> 00:00:31.239
There's a shiel in the air. Must befall.

and winter scares and a little something special for Thanksgiving.

17
00:01:41.040 --> 00:01:45.480
And in December we'll have full length horror novellas and

18
00:01:45.599 --> 00:01:49.280
so much more just to get you into the holiday spirit.

19
00:01:50.120 --> 00:01:55.400

29
00:02:32.000 --> 00:02:35.800
over ninety other spookies have signed up. It's time you

30
00:02:35.960 --> 00:02:42.039
join them. But as for tonight, the night air smells

31
00:02:42.280 --> 00:02:46.479
like hay and wood smell. We've headed outside of strick

32
00:02:46.599 --> 00:02:52.800
Field for a Halloween thrill. Laughter echoes across the farm

33
00:02:52.960 --> 00:02:57.280
as the last wagon fills up, and everyone settles in

34
00:02:58.120 --> 00:03:03.599
for some harmless spooky fun. But out there, past the

35
00:03:03.719 --> 00:03:08.680
cornfields and under the moon, not everyone along the ride

36
00:03:09.560 --> 00:03:15.000
is simply a machine, they say. The Pendleton Haunted Hayride

37
00:03:15.080 --> 00:03:20.319
runs on rules, simple ones meant to keep you safe.

38
00:03:20.439 --> 00:03:33.319
But no one is safe tonight, especially you. Halloween Haunted

39
00:03:33.400 --> 00:03:40.960
Hayride by rob Fields. The suv moved along State Route

40
00:03:40.960 --> 00:03:45.840
one on Halloween night, not a single car appeared in

41
00:03:45.960 --> 00:03:52.280
several minutes. Colette Miron was driving with three friends. How

42
00:03:52.360 --> 00:03:58.080
much longer? Olivia Brandt asked him, back, we just entered Pendleton,

43
00:03:58.240 --> 00:04:03.360
so probably soon. Colette answered, we have to stop and

44
00:04:03.400 --> 00:04:07.319
pick up Reed before we head there. Didn't somebody in

45
00:04:07.400 --> 00:04:12.319
here say Reed had a new girlfriend pres Barnsley, Olivia's

46
00:04:12.319 --> 00:04:17.720
boyfriend asked, Yeah, I thought somebody said that too. Olivia

47
00:04:17.839 --> 00:04:23.160
said I did. Colette admitted, Read and me still keep

48
00:04:23.160 --> 00:04:26.720
in touch. Even though his families moved to Pendleton last summer.

49
00:04:27.360 --> 00:04:31.920
He still drives to Strickfield University for classes most every day.

50
00:04:32.759 --> 00:04:37.959
I know you dated him briefly, Olivia said, we tried it,

51
00:04:38.000 --> 00:04:42.839
but we just didn't work. Colette answered, we're much better

52
00:04:42.920 --> 00:04:47.879
off as friends. She glanced to the passenger side. Besides,

53
00:04:48.360 --> 00:04:52.319
I'm already seeing someone. She moved her hand to take

54
00:04:52.360 --> 00:04:57.399
hold of Danny Hurley's. Anyway, Reid said he wanted to

55
00:04:57.439 --> 00:05:00.319
come with us tonight, and he has a new girl.

56
00:05:00.399 --> 00:05:05.800
He wants to bring along another new girl already. Danny

57
00:05:05.920 --> 00:05:11.519
asked who is she? Colette shrugged, I don't know. Reid

58
00:05:11.600 --> 00:05:14.879
met her at Lynn Marie's Coffee on Maine here in Pendleton.

59
00:05:15.720 --> 00:05:17.800
He talked to her and got a date with her

60
00:05:17.800 --> 00:05:21.480
for tonight. Her name is Alicia, and he says she's

61
00:05:21.519 --> 00:05:25.720
all right. Collette made a few turns before pulling in

62
00:05:25.759 --> 00:05:30.480
to Reed's driveway. The group waited until the front door opened.

63
00:05:31.160 --> 00:05:35.199
Reed Nevin came out with a young woman. Soon the

64
00:05:35.279 --> 00:05:38.600
two of them were at the suv. Olivia opened her

65
00:05:38.639 --> 00:05:41.959
door to let them come in. Reid climbed in back

66
00:05:42.040 --> 00:05:45.079
where the cargo space was to let the new girl

67
00:05:45.319 --> 00:05:50.160
sit with Olivia and Press. Guys, this is Alicia Carruthers.

68
00:05:50.759 --> 00:05:54.000
Reid told the group she just got here from Erie

69
00:05:54.079 --> 00:05:58.000
City a couple of days ago. Olivia raised an eyebrow,

70
00:05:58.920 --> 00:06:04.759
Erie City that's hundreds of miles away. Alicia laughed a little.

71
00:06:05.600 --> 00:06:09.120
I'm not actually living here. I'm on loan from the

72
00:06:09.160 --> 00:06:13.439
Eerie City Asylum. There's a person at the juvenile detention

73
00:06:13.639 --> 00:06:17.480
center here that's giving the staff a hard time. That

74
00:06:17.680 --> 00:06:21.639
person has a history of heavy drug use, so I

75
00:06:21.759 --> 00:06:24.519
was brought in to help one of the doctors. If

76
00:06:24.560 --> 00:06:27.199
he deems the kid needs to be in asylum care,

77
00:06:27.319 --> 00:06:33.360
then that's where I come in. Oh wow, Press said uneasily.

78
00:06:34.399 --> 00:06:39.560
You can't tell us the person's name, Olivia asked. Alicia

79
00:06:39.639 --> 00:06:44.199
shook her head. Can't rules or rules it's the whole

80
00:06:44.399 --> 00:06:51.480
confidentiality thing in all. Seriously, Olivia persisted, what if this

81
00:06:51.600 --> 00:06:56.920
kid is some deranged lunatic or something. Alicia held her position.

82
00:06:57.720 --> 00:07:04.639
Sorry again, rules rules. When everybody was seated, Colette pulled

83
00:07:04.639 --> 00:07:08.040
out onto the street and drove the car until they

84
00:07:08.079 --> 00:07:13.360
saw the parking lot. Here we are Spencer's farm, she cheered.

85
00:07:14.160 --> 00:07:17.079
I'm really looking forward to going on the Pendleton Haunted

86
00:07:17.120 --> 00:07:21.480
hay Ride with you, guys, Reed said excitedly. I did

87
00:07:21.480 --> 00:07:23.839
it last weekend, just for something to do when I

88
00:07:23.920 --> 00:07:28.480
was bored at home. Reid explained that the attraction only

89
00:07:28.560 --> 00:07:31.439
had live people to drive the tractors for the hay

90
00:07:31.560 --> 00:07:36.040
rides themselves. There were no live actors inside the Haunt,

91
00:07:36.560 --> 00:07:41.360
only animatronic scenes. With all the money this farm makes,

92
00:07:41.399 --> 00:07:46.000
I can see how Spencer himself could afford animatronics. Collette

93
00:07:46.079 --> 00:07:50.160
said that, and he doesn't have to pay the animatronics.

94
00:07:50.920 --> 00:07:55.759
Olivia leaned forward a little and grinned. Is that part

95
00:07:55.839 --> 00:08:01.199
of the mirror in ways? Colette rolled her eyes. Oh,

96
00:08:01.319 --> 00:08:05.120
listen to you. For the record, I don't know the

97
00:08:05.199 --> 00:08:09.120
mirror and ways one. My parents have yet to teach

98
00:08:09.160 --> 00:08:13.600
me those two, probably because my parents are among the

99
00:08:13.759 --> 00:08:18.720
very few in the gated community that aren't greedy. Olivia

100
00:08:18.839 --> 00:08:23.800
laughed a little and padded Collette's arm. Anything you say, girlfriend,

101
00:08:24.879 --> 00:08:28.959
Collette groaned and gave Olivia the finger. Then she turned

102
00:08:28.959 --> 00:08:32.519
into the gravel parking lot, where someone was wearing a

103
00:08:32.559 --> 00:08:36.159
safety vest and waving a flashlight to direct her into

104
00:08:36.200 --> 00:08:41.240
a parking spot. When Collette cut the engine, everybody got out.

105
00:08:41.879 --> 00:08:45.159
From there, the group saw the little country store, the

106
00:08:45.200 --> 00:08:50.399
food trucks, and the ticket booth. You guys, they actually

107
00:08:50.440 --> 00:08:55.039
make real caramel apples out here on site. Reid said,

108
00:08:55.720 --> 00:08:59.440
they're really good. They probably get the apples sent over

109
00:08:59.559 --> 00:09:04.879
from Redmont's orchards in Strickfield. Press guest, I know Spencer's

110
00:09:04.919 --> 00:09:09.200
farm doesn't grow apples. The group reached the ticket booth

111
00:09:09.360 --> 00:09:13.080
and paid their money. After going into the country store,

112
00:09:13.480 --> 00:09:16.799
they came back out with their caramel apples and got

113
00:09:16.840 --> 00:09:22.240
in line. They talked about things amongst themselves. Even Alicia

114
00:09:22.360 --> 00:09:26.799
got in on the conversations. Time seemed to pass quickly

115
00:09:26.879 --> 00:09:31.240
in line because they were finally getting on their hay wagon.

116
00:09:32.360 --> 00:09:35.480
As it turned out, they were the last ones to

117
00:09:35.559 --> 00:09:39.840
be seated and were at the rear. The tractor driver

118
00:09:40.039 --> 00:09:43.799
turned in his seat and spoke into a megaphone about

119
00:09:43.840 --> 00:09:49.240
the rules. He finished by saying, under no circumstances are

120
00:09:49.320 --> 00:09:52.720
any of you to leave the wagon at any given time.

121
00:09:53.440 --> 00:09:56.279
Failure to follow these rules will result in you being

122
00:09:56.399 --> 00:10:02.480
ejected from the premises without a ref He turned back

123
00:10:02.519 --> 00:10:06.679
around and waited a little bit before driving the tractor

124
00:10:06.799 --> 00:10:11.960
and wagon. Before long, the tractor and wagon entered what

125
00:10:12.039 --> 00:10:15.840
appeared to be a dark forest. Some of the riders

126
00:10:15.879 --> 00:10:21.399
made sounds of being scared. The tractor kept moving until

127
00:10:21.440 --> 00:10:26.240
everybody felt the sudden stop. Lights seemed to come on

128
00:10:26.559 --> 00:10:30.759
from everywhere. On either side of them, there were tons

129
00:10:30.840 --> 00:10:41.080
of tombstones. Nothing happened, however, boring Olivia muttered. Olivia found

130
00:10:41.080 --> 00:10:46.480
herself regretting her comment when a huge skeleton dropped seemingly

131
00:10:46.519 --> 00:10:50.879
out of nowhere and screamed to make nearly everybody in

132
00:10:50.919 --> 00:10:56.120
the hay wagon add their own to the choir. The

133
00:10:56.159 --> 00:11:00.320
skeleton's eyes and heart glowed like the creature had come

134
00:11:00.399 --> 00:11:05.440
from the pits of hades itself. Then the skeleton moved

135
00:11:05.480 --> 00:11:11.399
its arms around, making mostly the females scream. After a

136
00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:16.440
short time, the skeleton ascended upward before the lights in

137
00:11:16.519 --> 00:11:27.399
its eyes and heart dimmed. Alicia gulped to herself, that

138
00:11:28.200 --> 00:11:33.279
was scary. Then she saw Reid laughing it up. What's

139
00:11:33.320 --> 00:11:36.559
so funny? I told you all I came out here

140
00:11:36.639 --> 00:11:41.120
last weekend, He reminded her. It's gonna be fun watching

141
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:45.320
all of you scream. If you think that skeleton was scary. Well,

142
00:11:46.080 --> 00:11:53.679
the wagon took off in the darkness again. When one

143
00:11:53.720 --> 00:11:57.200
of the riders sitting next to Alicia took his smartphone

144
00:11:57.240 --> 00:12:01.919
out and started flashing the lights around. The wagon stopped.

145
00:12:02.840 --> 00:12:07.480
Then the tractor driver spoke on the megaphone again. No

146
00:12:07.879 --> 00:12:14.279
phone flashes, put it away, last warning. The guy reluctantly

147
00:12:14.320 --> 00:12:18.320
put his phone away, but he muttered under his breath.

148
00:12:18.879 --> 00:12:21.120
I paid my money. I can do what I want.

149
00:12:21.799 --> 00:12:27.000
Alicia surprised everybody by suddenly pointing right at him. No,

150
00:12:27.399 --> 00:12:31.840
you will not, She pointed to the tractor driver. You

151
00:12:31.960 --> 00:12:36.240
heard what he said. Rules are rules. They're in place

152
00:12:36.360 --> 00:12:40.080
for a reason. When the guy was ready to give

153
00:12:40.159 --> 00:12:44.919
more attitude, Alicia reached out and clutched his throat. He

154
00:12:45.080 --> 00:12:48.919
tried to move her hand, but her grip was surprisingly

155
00:12:49.039 --> 00:12:52.399
able to keep him in place. She leaned in and

156
00:12:52.519 --> 00:12:56.799
glared right into his eyes, even though it was dark,

157
00:12:57.320 --> 00:13:05.759
the guy could easily see Alicia again. Rules are rules? Okay, okay,

158
00:13:06.679 --> 00:13:10.919
the guy uttered, fear in his voice. Alicia let go

159
00:13:11.000 --> 00:13:15.159
of him and returned to read. I think you just

160
00:13:15.200 --> 00:13:19.960
became my personal hero, hon he told her. Alicia took

161
00:13:20.000 --> 00:13:24.240
his hand. Rules are rules. It seems like we're never

162
00:13:24.320 --> 00:13:28.279
taught that enough at the asylum. That's how incidents and

163
00:13:28.559 --> 00:13:33.840
accidents happen when you don't follow the rules. The others

164
00:13:33.919 --> 00:13:39.440
heard the guy's girlfriend mutter to him, idiot. The wagon

165
00:13:39.600 --> 00:13:44.320
suddenly stopped again. Lights came on, Just like at the

166
00:13:44.399 --> 00:13:48.279
first scene, they were in what appeared to be a

167
00:13:48.360 --> 00:13:52.639
western town. Several of the riders gasped when they heard

168
00:13:52.639 --> 00:13:57.000
crickets chirping. Even though the sounds were likely coming out

169
00:13:57.039 --> 00:14:03.240
of hidden speakers, they still scared the writers. Suddenly, the

170
00:14:03.279 --> 00:14:08.679
tavern nearby burst into flames. Then an animatronic man came

171
00:14:08.799 --> 00:14:12.799
running out, screaming as he burned before he fell over

172
00:14:12.919 --> 00:14:17.480
on the patio. The writers screamed even more when a

173
00:14:17.519 --> 00:14:21.840
flaming skeleton appeared and spoke to the dead man.

174
00:14:22.600 --> 00:14:26.679
Fool, did you really think you could escape your fate?

175
00:14:27.759 --> 00:14:30.240
The disembodied voice uttered.

176
00:14:30.720 --> 00:14:36.159
Now you shall spend all eternity burning for your sins.

177
00:14:37.039 --> 00:14:40.080
The head turned and glared at the riders.

178
00:14:40.159 --> 00:14:45.360
Now, and so shout, all of you daring to enter

179
00:14:45.840 --> 00:14:47.360
my ghost town.

180
00:14:48.480 --> 00:14:50.080
The hand pointed at them.

181
00:14:50.200 --> 00:14:55.240
Now, did no one tell you of the legend of Hellgate?

182
00:14:56.240 --> 00:14:59.919
If they did not, it is much too late. Now

183
00:15:00.879 --> 00:15:04.879
you shall join this man in his fate.

184
00:15:05.960 --> 00:15:10.759
Many screams were heard when the skeleton uttered long peals

185
00:15:10.799 --> 00:15:16.320
of horrible laughter. They screamed even louder when the rest

186
00:15:16.360 --> 00:15:20.519
of the buildings suddenly burst into flames.

187
00:15:21.360 --> 00:15:23.840
Welcome to my world now.

188
00:15:24.799 --> 00:15:31.080
The skeleton bellowed and laughed even more menacingly. When the

189
00:15:31.120 --> 00:15:35.799
hayride continued, the group saw the flames die down and

190
00:15:35.960 --> 00:15:41.120
go out. When they were far enough away, Olivia tapped

191
00:15:41.200 --> 00:15:46.879
Reid's hand. Does it get much worse than that? Reid chuckled,

192
00:15:47.559 --> 00:15:52.360
I ain't ruining the surprises. Olivia growled a little. She

193
00:15:52.519 --> 00:15:56.759
calmed down when Press put his arm around her. When

194
00:15:56.759 --> 00:16:01.840
she turned his way, they shared a brief kiss. Then

195
00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:08.320
Danny took Colette's hand. You okay, he asked her. She nodded.

196
00:16:09.360 --> 00:16:14.120
I got scared real good, but I'll be okay. The

197
00:16:14.159 --> 00:16:19.360
wagon came to another sudden stop. What appeared to be

198
00:16:19.480 --> 00:16:24.600
the inside of a crypt. Coffins seemed to be everywhere.

199
00:16:25.440 --> 00:16:30.519
They were motionless vampires and victims. In the scene. A

200
00:16:30.639 --> 00:16:36.919
soundtrack played depicting what sounded like a horrible vampire massacre.

201
00:16:38.840 --> 00:16:43.919
As it reached its spine chilling climax, a huge animatronic

202
00:16:44.039 --> 00:16:49.000
vampire that appeared to be half transformed between human and

203
00:16:49.159 --> 00:16:56.120
bat suddenly appeared from seemingly out of nowhere and screeched

204
00:16:56.639 --> 00:17:04.400
a horrible screech. You long to me now, the animatronic said.

205
00:17:05.039 --> 00:17:10.559
Your lives as you knew it are over. Now you

206
00:17:10.680 --> 00:17:16.279
shall learn to enjoy your new lives here as members

207
00:17:16.759 --> 00:17:18.319
of the undead.

208
00:17:19.519 --> 00:17:24.839
When the creature began flapping its wings wildly, more screams

209
00:17:24.920 --> 00:17:30.839
could be heard. Soon the hay ride continued. You okay,

210
00:17:30.920 --> 00:17:37.799
Alicia Coleede asked, seeing her taking short, quick breaths. How

211
00:17:37.839 --> 00:17:42.559
can you even be scared anyways? Olivia asked, You work

212
00:17:42.599 --> 00:17:46.000
in an asylum. I would think you'd be used to it.

213
00:17:46.880 --> 00:17:51.039
Alicia pointed at her, You never get used to it.

214
00:17:51.920 --> 00:17:55.880
She lowered her hand and leaned in. I can tell

215
00:17:55.920 --> 00:18:00.680
you stories about that place that'll make your very skin crawl.

216
00:18:01.799 --> 00:18:07.799
No joke, Everybody remained quiet as the wagon continued to

217
00:18:07.920 --> 00:18:15.559
move as before. It stopped again. Suddenly the lights blazed

218
00:18:15.640 --> 00:18:22.039
on to reveal what appeared to be a carnival scene.

219
00:18:22.359 --> 00:18:25.160
There was some laughter when a few of them pointed

220
00:18:25.200 --> 00:18:31.920
out the sign that read Strickfield Carnival. They knew that

221
00:18:32.039 --> 00:18:35.519
the neighboring village was used because of all the legends

222
00:18:35.920 --> 00:18:44.240
surrounding the former carnival there. Also, they likely lived in Strickfield.

223
00:18:44.720 --> 00:18:51.880
Isn't something supposed to be happening, Olivia muttered, it's probably

224
00:18:51.960 --> 00:18:58.000
another surprise. Danny guessed, it's been a good two minutes now,

225
00:18:58.759 --> 00:19:04.359
Olivia pointed out. Then Colette and Alicia shrieked when someone

226
00:19:04.480 --> 00:19:08.400
suddenly appeared at the end of the wagon beside them.

227
00:19:09.359 --> 00:19:13.519
It was the tractor driver. Sorry, if I scared you, folks,

228
00:19:14.039 --> 00:19:16.599
I assure you I ain't the scare you good people

229
00:19:16.640 --> 00:19:19.880
paid money for. I'm gonna go check on it real quick.

230
00:19:20.720 --> 00:19:20.920
Yeah.

231
00:19:20.960 --> 00:19:23.920
I could just keep right on going, but you all

232
00:19:23.960 --> 00:19:28.079
paid good money. Remember, stay right here in the wagon.

233
00:19:28.720 --> 00:19:32.880
This'll only take a second. When the driver turned and

234
00:19:32.960 --> 00:19:37.960
went into the carnival scene, Olivia acted, now's our chance,

235
00:19:38.000 --> 00:19:41.839
you guys, She said, to where only her immediate group

236
00:19:42.200 --> 00:19:46.359
could hear her? You mean you want to get off

237
00:19:46.400 --> 00:19:59.839
the ride, Colette asked. Olivia smiled with a hint of mischief. Yeah,

238
00:20:00.160 --> 00:20:02.720
we can make our own way around this place and

239
00:20:02.759 --> 00:20:05.400
make it worth the twenty five dollars we each paid

240
00:20:05.440 --> 00:20:09.119
to get in here. Come on, girl, it'll be a rush.

241
00:20:10.119 --> 00:20:13.640
Alicia shook her head. You heard what the driver said

242
00:20:13.640 --> 00:20:17.599
about leaving the car. We're not supposed to. Those are

243
00:20:17.640 --> 00:20:22.279
the rules, remember, Olivia reached out and took firm hold

244
00:20:22.359 --> 00:20:27.640
of Alicia's hand. And rules are made to be broken. Honey,

245
00:20:28.200 --> 00:20:31.119
you're not in the asylum right now, so have some fun.

246
00:20:32.160 --> 00:20:37.319
Everything's gonna be okay, she included. Everybody, Now, come on,

247
00:20:37.519 --> 00:20:41.559
let's do it while there's still time. When Olivia saw

248
00:20:41.759 --> 00:20:45.920
nobody would move, she quickly turned and got off the wagon.

249
00:20:46.960 --> 00:20:50.880
She laughed as she trotted off. Catch me if you can,

250
00:20:52.000 --> 00:20:55.640
Olivia press groaned and got out to go after her.

251
00:20:56.680 --> 00:21:00.480
The others were soon off the wagon. They found Olivia

252
00:21:00.640 --> 00:21:04.880
and quickly hid with her. We really shouldn't be doing this,

253
00:21:05.480 --> 00:21:09.039
Alicia advised them. Who knows what kind of trouble we'll

254
00:21:09.039 --> 00:21:12.599
get into if we get caught. What if the others

255
00:21:12.640 --> 00:21:17.400
tell the driver. We won't get caught, Olivia assured her,

256
00:21:18.079 --> 00:21:21.720
not as long as we stay alert. Then she chuckled

257
00:21:22.039 --> 00:21:25.839
when the tractor and the wagon were heard moving away.

258
00:21:27.119 --> 00:21:31.240
Guess no one told the driver we're good. You are

259
00:21:31.480 --> 00:21:37.240
such a trouble maker, Olivia. Colette groaned. I still haven't

260
00:21:37.279 --> 00:21:41.720
forgiven you for the time you got me arrested last spring. Also,

261
00:21:41.839 --> 00:21:46.359
you could get your rush. Wait a minute, you got arrested,

262
00:21:47.000 --> 00:21:50.839
Danny asked, in surprise. Yeah, I thought I told you

263
00:21:50.880 --> 00:21:55.240
about it, Colette replied. Olivia tried to steal a CD

264
00:21:55.519 --> 00:21:59.519
from Meyer out by that mall in Strickfield. The police

265
00:21:59.519 --> 00:22:02.519
were right there when we were leaving. I didn't know

266
00:22:02.559 --> 00:22:05.519
anything about it, but I still sat in a jail

267
00:22:05.559 --> 00:22:09.480
cell with her. She shoved her best friend. I sure

268
00:22:09.519 --> 00:22:14.119
loved explaining all of that to my parents. Fortunately for us,

269
00:22:14.279 --> 00:22:19.599
the manager decided not to press charges. Olivia raised her finger,

270
00:22:20.359 --> 00:22:23.839
only because I paid for the CD after all. She

271
00:22:24.000 --> 00:22:28.799
laughed a little and playfully shoved Colette back. Besides, you

272
00:22:29.000 --> 00:22:32.799
know you love me, have been your best friend since kindergarten.

273
00:22:33.279 --> 00:22:37.680
Before Colette could fire back, Olivia pulled her into a hug.

274
00:22:38.400 --> 00:22:44.000
She moaned when she squeezed Colette. I love you, Colette

275
00:22:44.039 --> 00:22:48.279
sighed and returned the hug. I love you too, but

276
00:22:48.839 --> 00:22:54.079
you're still in trouble. Yes, I am, she agreed quickly

277
00:22:54.599 --> 00:22:59.000
after they separated. But now let's get into some and

278
00:22:59.039 --> 00:23:03.079
go look for some more scenes. I need my rush.

279
00:23:03.920 --> 00:23:09.759
This is totally against the rules, Alicia groaned. We're all

280
00:23:09.799 --> 00:23:13.880
going to get in so much trouble here. We'll be fine,

281
00:23:14.519 --> 00:23:18.920
Press assured her. The group broke another rule by using

282
00:23:18.960 --> 00:23:23.119
their smartphone lights to find their way through the dark forest.

283
00:23:24.160 --> 00:23:29.079
Soon they came out in what appeared to be another scene,

284
00:23:29.200 --> 00:23:33.000
this one from the Middle Ages. There was a mixture

285
00:23:33.079 --> 00:23:37.960
of both admiration and gasps when they saw the animatronic

286
00:23:38.160 --> 00:23:42.279
masked hangman with an axe in his hands and the

287
00:23:42.359 --> 00:23:47.519
condemned with a noose around his neck. I can't believe

288
00:23:47.599 --> 00:23:51.880
all the detail these scenes have, Reid said, in admiration.

289
00:23:52.839 --> 00:23:56.720
Old man Spencer sure spared no expense to make these

290
00:23:56.759 --> 00:24:00.640
scenes the best. What makes the LA lights come on,

291
00:24:01.359 --> 00:24:06.000
Colette wondered, Probably the tractor tripped some censors or something.

292
00:24:06.599 --> 00:24:10.759
Danny guessed could be why we're not getting any light

293
00:24:10.920 --> 00:24:15.400
right now. We can see plenty good with our smartphones,

294
00:24:15.880 --> 00:24:20.720
Olivia said. Press draped his arm around her. Are you

295
00:24:20.880 --> 00:24:26.400
feeling your rush again, babe? Olivia turned to face him

296
00:24:26.720 --> 00:24:29.839
and answered his question when she suddenly hugged him to

297
00:24:29.880 --> 00:24:34.839
her and kissed him hard. Press held her close and

298
00:24:34.960 --> 00:24:39.559
knew his wild girlfriend was getting her rush yet again.

299
00:24:40.759 --> 00:24:44.599
He knew that when she was pleased, he would be pleased.

300
00:24:45.480 --> 00:24:50.359
When they broke apart, Olivia took Press's hand. I think

301
00:24:50.440 --> 00:24:55.680
we should explore that little cabin over there. Press didn't

302
00:24:55.720 --> 00:24:59.960
need Olivia to either explain why or tell him twice.

303
00:25:01.400 --> 00:25:08.119
You guys, Collette called out seriously. Suddenly, Alicia turned and

304
00:25:08.200 --> 00:25:13.400
pointed in a direction. I heard something over there. The

305
00:25:13.440 --> 00:25:17.200
rest of the group was quiet for a moment when

306
00:25:17.240 --> 00:25:21.559
they heard the sounds of a tractor approaching. Danny said,

307
00:25:22.400 --> 00:25:26.359
it's another hay wagon. If they see us, we'll definitely

308
00:25:26.400 --> 00:25:31.200
get in trouble. Colette choked, Oh, I hate you, Olivia.

309
00:25:32.039 --> 00:25:36.160
Danny took her hand. Let's get out of sight. Alicia

310
00:25:36.279 --> 00:25:41.599
shrieked and took off running. Honey wait. Reid called out

311
00:25:42.039 --> 00:25:47.240
and chased after her. Danny and Collette ran behind the gallows.

312
00:25:47.759 --> 00:25:51.119
It wasn't long before the tractor and wagon approached the

313
00:25:51.200 --> 00:25:57.640
scene and stopped. Suddenly, after a bit, the lights came on.

314
00:25:58.359 --> 00:26:03.680
The animatronics came to life and performed their scene. The

315
00:26:03.759 --> 00:26:07.599
patrons on the wagon screamed when the gruesome scene was

316
00:26:07.680 --> 00:26:11.279
doing what they had paid good money to see. A

317
00:26:11.359 --> 00:26:15.720
louder chorus of screams filled the area as it reached

318
00:26:15.799 --> 00:26:21.440
its horrifying conclusion, but Colette hadn't really heard much of

319
00:26:21.480 --> 00:26:25.160
the screams. After Danny had backed her up against one

320
00:26:25.200 --> 00:26:29.960
of the pillars and started kissing her, Colette returned her

321
00:26:30.000 --> 00:26:35.160
boyfriend's affections and kissed him back right then. She was

322
00:26:35.200 --> 00:26:40.119
glad that Olivia had felt mischievous. Even though she could

323
00:26:40.160 --> 00:26:43.319
get upset with her best friend, she had to admit

324
00:26:44.039 --> 00:26:47.480
she felt the same rush at knowing they were taking

325
00:26:47.640 --> 00:26:52.240
risks like this and making out with her boyfriend made

326
00:26:52.240 --> 00:26:56.599
her own rush that much more enjoyable. When she and

327
00:26:56.680 --> 00:26:59.000
Olivia were sitting in one of the cells at the

328
00:26:59.079 --> 00:27:04.640
Strickfield Police Department, Colette couldn't stop shaking. Olivia thought she

329
00:27:04.759 --> 00:27:08.559
was afraid and teased her about it. The truth was

330
00:27:09.119 --> 00:27:13.279
Colette was feeling the rush. Of course, she would never

331
00:27:13.640 --> 00:27:18.240
admit this to Olivia. Colette told Danny, they could take

332
00:27:18.319 --> 00:27:23.559
things further right there. The tractor and wagon were long gone,

333
00:27:24.119 --> 00:27:29.079
but the lights were still on. Danny unzipped Colette's hoodie

334
00:27:29.119 --> 00:27:34.519
and unbuttoned her blouse when he stuck his hand further inside.

335
00:27:34.720 --> 00:27:39.640
That wasn't what broke the couple out of their romantic mood.

336
00:27:40.599 --> 00:27:45.559
They heard some loud movements close by and stopped kissing automatically.

337
00:27:46.480 --> 00:27:51.759
Danny removed his hand from her blouse. Colette quickly buttoned

338
00:27:51.759 --> 00:28:00.240
it back up. Guys, is that you? Who's there? Two

339
00:28:00.319 --> 00:28:03.759
of them moved out in front of the gallows. Colette

340
00:28:03.799 --> 00:28:08.359
felt a little scared and took Danny's hand. She closed

341
00:28:08.359 --> 00:28:12.440
her eyes and took deep breaths. At the same time,

342
00:28:12.839 --> 00:28:17.480
she was feeling that rush again. She knew she couldn't

343
00:28:17.480 --> 00:28:21.000
wait for more of their adventure at the Pendleton Haunted

344
00:28:21.039 --> 00:28:26.599
Hay Ride to continue. Once she confirmed the others were okay,

345
00:28:27.400 --> 00:28:31.279
Colette opened her eyes and gasped when she heard the

346
00:28:31.359 --> 00:28:38.920
hangman laughing his horrible laughter up on the platform. You okay, hun,

347
00:28:39.680 --> 00:28:46.920
Danny asked, yes, Colette replied, feeling her rush again. Oh yes.

348
00:28:48.079 --> 00:28:52.680
Her eyes opened wide when she heard movement on the platform.

349
00:28:52.960 --> 00:28:56.640
She and Danny both looked up and saw the hangman's

350
00:28:56.720 --> 00:29:02.039
axe right down at them and fell. Colette felt her

351
00:29:02.119 --> 00:29:05.359
legs taking over and running her away from the platform.

352
00:29:05.880 --> 00:29:09.319
She couldn't believe that the hangman had literally come down

353
00:29:09.720 --> 00:29:14.079
with his medieval axe. Then she made herself stop to

354
00:29:14.160 --> 00:29:19.759
turn around for Danny. However, the scene's lights went dark

355
00:29:21.039 --> 00:29:26.359
just as Danny screamed. Colette screamed herself when she heard

356
00:29:26.400 --> 00:29:30.920
the swings of the axe and the sickening, sloshing thunk

357
00:29:31.200 --> 00:29:36.599
noises that followed. Danny screamed only a few more times

358
00:29:37.240 --> 00:29:42.559
before they got less loud and shorter. When she heard

359
00:29:42.599 --> 00:29:47.480
another sickening, wet thunk, Colette felt a new rush that

360
00:29:47.680 --> 00:29:51.839
forced her to run for all she was worth. I

361
00:29:51.880 --> 00:29:57.039
can't believe this is happening, she uttered quickly. Colette stopped

362
00:29:57.039 --> 00:29:59.960
when she reached a big tree and hid behind her.

363
00:30:01.119 --> 00:30:04.559
Since there were no lights, she was sure the hangman

364
00:30:04.880 --> 00:30:11.039
wouldn't find her right right, She tried to keep her

365
00:30:11.079 --> 00:30:15.480
breathing as low as she possibly could. What was wrong

366
00:30:15.559 --> 00:30:19.079
with her? How could she feel such a rush at

367
00:30:19.119 --> 00:30:24.119
a time like this? Her boyfriend was likely dead, and

368
00:30:24.240 --> 00:30:29.400
she was high off the excitement. She tightened her fists

369
00:30:29.440 --> 00:30:33.519
and knew she had to keep going. She didn't really

370
00:30:33.559 --> 00:30:38.000
think about it and just moved in a direction. Even

371
00:30:38.079 --> 00:30:42.079
though it was still practically pitch dark, she could still

372
00:30:42.079 --> 00:30:45.359
make out the trees in front of her and avoid them.

373
00:30:46.319 --> 00:30:50.920
She tried to keep quiet. Was the hangman really coming

374
00:30:50.960 --> 00:30:56.440
after her? But the more important question was why had

375
00:30:56.440 --> 00:31:02.039
the animatronic suddenly come to life? She felt herself shivering,

376
00:31:02.680 --> 00:31:07.240
but not from the cold. She couldn't stop feeling the rush.

377
00:31:08.160 --> 00:31:11.519
She wondered how much longer she would continue to feel

378
00:31:11.519 --> 00:31:16.480
it would she eventually pass out from too much excitement.

379
00:31:17.759 --> 00:31:21.599
She came to a clearing and realized she had possibly

380
00:31:22.079 --> 00:31:24.519
found another scene.

381
00:31:24.880 --> 00:31:25.240
Help.

382
00:31:25.880 --> 00:31:32.720
Oh god, no, Colette heard nearby that scream sounded like Alicia.

383
00:31:33.640 --> 00:31:38.440
Colette knew she couldn't just leave her friends to die.

384
00:31:38.640 --> 00:31:43.160
One animatronic had already come to life, right, what was

385
00:31:43.240 --> 00:31:48.720
to say that another one hadn't? Still? If Alicia was alive,

386
00:31:49.519 --> 00:31:53.319
she had to try and save her. And what about Reed?

387
00:31:54.160 --> 00:31:58.519
Was he still alive? Colette smiled and laughed a little.

388
00:31:58.759 --> 00:32:02.640
When she felt the rush again, She knew she should

389
00:32:02.720 --> 00:32:07.000
run away and save herself. What she was doing was

390
00:32:07.640 --> 00:32:11.720
just crazy, but she was doing it. When she reached

391
00:32:11.759 --> 00:32:15.160
the door to the cabin. The lights suddenly came on

392
00:32:15.440 --> 00:32:20.480
to reveal a giant man with a deformed face, with

393
00:32:20.720 --> 00:32:25.880
huge bulging eyes and a great big axe to bury,

394
00:32:26.720 --> 00:32:31.079
possibly in her head. Colette leaped out of the way

395
00:32:31.440 --> 00:32:35.279
just as the giant stopped and suddenly turned her way

396
00:32:36.440 --> 00:32:41.680
another animatronic, she thought. Knowing this, she moved into the

397
00:32:41.759 --> 00:32:49.319
hut and screamed, Oh no, Alicia. Colette knelt down next

398
00:32:49.359 --> 00:32:53.160
to the new girl. Sure enough, she was all spattered

399
00:32:53.200 --> 00:32:57.960
and soaked with blood. Her clothes were torn, likely where

400
00:32:58.000 --> 00:33:02.839
the animatronic madman had cut and chopped at her. She

401
00:33:02.920 --> 00:33:06.440
tried to feel for a pulse, but decided against it

402
00:33:06.759 --> 00:33:10.839
when she felt how cold her skin was. It was

403
00:33:11.000 --> 00:33:15.839
usually cold on Halloween night, but Colette felt she couldn't

404
00:33:15.839 --> 00:33:20.960
determine Alicia's pulse for sure. Looking at the body again,

405
00:33:21.759 --> 00:33:25.920
she knew she had to be dead. When Colette heard

406
00:33:26.000 --> 00:33:31.720
the animatronic killer groaning and then laughing it up, she

407
00:33:31.839 --> 00:33:36.079
knew it would soon be coming for her. She cried out.

408
00:33:36.160 --> 00:33:40.440
When the killer did indeed return, she sprang to her

409
00:33:40.480 --> 00:33:44.279
feet and got out of that hut. She stopped a

410
00:33:44.279 --> 00:33:47.680
little ways and looked to see if the killer would

411
00:33:47.759 --> 00:33:52.440
come after her, even after seeing what was left of Alicia.

412
00:33:53.359 --> 00:33:58.079
Why do I keep feeling that that rush, she asked herself.

413
00:33:58.720 --> 00:34:03.000
I hate you, Olivia. Of course, she didn't really hate

414
00:34:03.000 --> 00:34:06.880
her best friend, but Olivia was the one who got

415
00:34:06.880 --> 00:34:10.880
her to want to feel that rush. Now she just

416
00:34:11.000 --> 00:34:17.719
couldn't get enough even under these haunting circumstances. Suddenly the

417
00:34:17.840 --> 00:34:23.760
doors burst open. The mongoloid killer appeared again, only now

418
00:34:23.840 --> 00:34:28.440
he was looking right at Colette. She felt the sudden

419
00:34:28.519 --> 00:34:31.960
rush again. When the animatronic killer jumped right off the

420
00:34:32.000 --> 00:34:37.920
platform with its axe raised. Colette cried out, but didn't scream.

421
00:34:38.639 --> 00:34:41.920
The adrenaline she was feeling was giving her that push.

422
00:34:42.360 --> 00:34:45.400
She was actually able to leave what would be a

423
00:34:45.440 --> 00:34:52.159
tireless killer behind. Colette soon found herself in another scene.

424
00:34:52.199 --> 00:34:55.239
Even in the dark, she could easily make out the

425
00:34:55.320 --> 00:35:01.280
shape of a barn. Suddenly, the lights came on. Colette

426
00:35:01.320 --> 00:35:06.039
knew another group was coming in and hid inside the barn.

427
00:35:07.480 --> 00:35:10.760
Both Colette and the group were treated to a gang

428
00:35:10.840 --> 00:35:16.239
of animatronic scarecrows that appeared and did their act, which

429
00:35:16.280 --> 00:35:18.880
scared some of the patrons on the wagon.

430
00:35:19.800 --> 00:35:24.079
Intruders to our farm pay a heavy price.

431
00:35:24.719 --> 00:35:30.320
The scarecrows all uttered in a unified haunting chorus. The

432
00:35:30.360 --> 00:35:34.880
payoff happened when a body suddenly dropped from the rafters

433
00:35:35.559 --> 00:35:39.840
right in front of the open barn doors. The patrons

434
00:35:39.920 --> 00:35:45.000
screamed at the sudden surprise. Colette gasped in utter horror

435
00:35:45.519 --> 00:35:52.159
when she saw who the hanging figure was press O God.

436
00:35:55.559 --> 00:36:00.880
First it was her boyfriend, second was Alicia. Now it

437
00:36:01.039 --> 00:36:06.199
was Olivia's boyfriend. She tightened her fists and groaned again.

438
00:36:07.519 --> 00:36:12.719
This latest rush felt just capital. She knew she was

439
00:36:12.960 --> 00:36:16.440
just as much an addict, if not worse, than Olivia.

440
00:36:17.079 --> 00:36:21.920
She knew she should be very afraid, but she continued

441
00:36:21.960 --> 00:36:26.320
to get off on the excitement. Maybe this was a

442
00:36:26.360 --> 00:36:29.679
good thing. She could use this to help her brave

443
00:36:29.840 --> 00:36:36.000
these animatronic killers and find whatever friends were still alive.

444
00:36:36.800 --> 00:36:40.880
When the latest wagon drove off, the lights remained on.

445
00:36:41.920 --> 00:36:46.159
Colette wondered if perhaps the scarecrows were going to come

446
00:36:46.199 --> 00:36:50.920
to life next and chase her down. Then she heard

447
00:36:50.920 --> 00:36:55.440
some twigs breaking and turned to see the animatronic killer

448
00:36:56.079 --> 00:37:01.679
in the distance with the axe in both hands. Colette

449
00:37:01.719 --> 00:37:05.800
just laughed as her excitement kept her fear away. She

450
00:37:05.920 --> 00:37:11.239
felt almost brave enough to confront this electronic monstrosity head on,

451
00:37:11.880 --> 00:37:14.920
but she wasn't dumb enough to do that very thing.

452
00:37:16.039 --> 00:37:19.800
Colette turned and ran, this time heading to the path

453
00:37:20.079 --> 00:37:24.320
where the tractors pulled their hay wagons. She didn't care

454
00:37:24.360 --> 00:37:27.480
if she ran into one of them or not. She

455
00:37:27.679 --> 00:37:31.320
had to get help for her remaining friends. Maybe they

456
00:37:31.360 --> 00:37:35.880
could even help her find them. She prayed they weren't

457
00:37:35.920 --> 00:37:41.159
already dead. Colette kept moving, but not a single wagon appeared.

458
00:37:41.840 --> 00:37:46.119
She stopped and quickly dug out her smartphone. It's almost

459
00:37:46.159 --> 00:37:50.800
twelve fifteen. The event ended at eleven. How long have

460
00:37:50.880 --> 00:37:55.000
we been out here? She could call the police since

461
00:37:55.039 --> 00:37:58.199
she had a phone signal, but the swing of an

462
00:37:58.199 --> 00:38:01.719
axe suddenly knocked the phone from her hand and sent

463
00:38:01.800 --> 00:38:04.760
it to the ground. She didn't need to pick it

464
00:38:04.880 --> 00:38:08.519
up to see that the screen was cracked in several places.

465
00:38:09.280 --> 00:38:11.880
She could just barely make out that her phone was

466
00:38:12.639 --> 00:38:18.159
no longer receiving signal. The killer animatronic chasing her down

467
00:38:18.280 --> 00:38:22.480
hadn't harmed her, but her phone was destroyed for sure.

468
00:38:23.360 --> 00:38:27.760
Colette ran off again as the animatronic killer was raising

469
00:38:27.800 --> 00:38:33.400
his axe. In that moment, she wondered if that thing

470
00:38:33.480 --> 00:38:36.920
don't get me? Will my heart give out? How much

471
00:38:36.960 --> 00:38:42.360
more of this? Of this incredible rush? Can I take Colette?

472
00:38:42.840 --> 00:38:47.400
Over here? A voice called out. Colette looked to see

473
00:38:47.400 --> 00:38:51.639
Olivia behind what appeared to be an outhouse. When she

474
00:38:51.760 --> 00:38:56.519
reached Olivia, she saw that Reed was also there. We

475
00:38:56.639 --> 00:39:02.079
gotta go, Olivia said, quickly, pointing past Colette. The three

476
00:39:02.119 --> 00:39:05.480
of them ran through the woods together. They could hear

477
00:39:05.519 --> 00:39:10.559
the animatronic slasher continuing to give chase. They came upon

478
00:39:10.639 --> 00:39:15.000
another scene. This one was the entrance to what appeared

479
00:39:15.000 --> 00:39:19.400
to be a dilapidated old mansion. They ran up onto

480
00:39:19.400 --> 00:39:23.079
the steps as Reid opened one of the French doors

481
00:39:23.719 --> 00:39:29.079
and animatronic undead butler surprised them. They didn't even bother

482
00:39:29.280 --> 00:39:32.519
listening to what the butler had to say. They ran

483
00:39:32.639 --> 00:39:36.119
past the thing and into the house, only to find

484
00:39:36.159 --> 00:39:42.159
themselves shortly dropping onto the grass below. They collected themselves

485
00:39:42.239 --> 00:39:45.800
and got back to their feet, muttering among themselves how

486
00:39:46.239 --> 00:39:49.199
they should have realized that the front doors were just

487
00:39:49.239 --> 00:39:54.199
an illusion in the scene. When the animatronic killer came around,

488
00:39:54.639 --> 00:39:58.039
instead of going through the French doors, they took off

489
00:39:58.119 --> 00:40:03.960
running again. Reid, do you know about Alicia? Colette asked,

490
00:40:04.679 --> 00:40:07.960
we got split up? He answered, I've been trying to

491
00:40:08.000 --> 00:40:12.639
look for her. Why. Colette didn't say anything right away.

492
00:40:13.519 --> 00:40:15.800
It was only when they ran back to the barn

493
00:40:15.880 --> 00:40:20.480
scene and hid inside that she told Red about Alicia

494
00:40:21.880 --> 00:40:27.679
oh Man. Reed groaned, bowing his head. Then he looked

495
00:40:27.719 --> 00:40:31.840
back up at Olivia and Colette. I really liked Alicia.

496
00:40:32.800 --> 00:40:39.760
Then he realized and took Colette's hand, Danny. Colette shook

497
00:40:39.800 --> 00:40:45.199
her head slowly. Olivia did the same. They knew now

498
00:40:45.880 --> 00:40:50.079
they were the only ones left. We gotta get out

499
00:40:50.079 --> 00:40:55.000
of here, Olivia said. Colette noticed Olivia was tightening her

500
00:40:55.039 --> 00:41:00.159
fists and knew the rush had her too. Neither of

501
00:41:00.000 --> 00:41:03.199
the girls wanted to go, but they couldn't put Reed

502
00:41:03.320 --> 00:41:07.480
in danger. It was then that Colette remembered her feelings

503
00:41:07.559 --> 00:41:13.079
for him and considered his safety. Yeah, let's find our

504
00:41:13.119 --> 00:41:16.639
way back up to where we came in, Colette suggested.

505
00:41:17.559 --> 00:41:20.000
If we make our way to the trail, we should

506
00:41:20.000 --> 00:41:22.960
be able to get back. There doesn't matter which way

507
00:41:23.000 --> 00:41:27.280
we go. When Colette felt Reid taking her hand and

508
00:41:27.320 --> 00:41:31.840
squeezing it, she knew he felt the same way. She

509
00:41:32.000 --> 00:41:35.320
wondered if maybe they hadn't give their attempt at a

510
00:41:35.360 --> 00:41:40.800
relationship enough time to blossom. There wasn't time to ponder

511
00:41:40.840 --> 00:41:45.599
that when the slasher found them again. Let's get out

512
00:41:45.599 --> 00:41:49.800
of here, Colette said quickly, to the surprise of Colette

513
00:41:49.800 --> 00:41:55.480
and Reid. Olivia turned to face the killer. They could

514
00:41:55.480 --> 00:41:59.159
see the gleam in her eyes. Anew, she was about

515
00:41:59.239 --> 00:42:06.360
to do something crazy, Olivia, no, Colette told her, knowing

516
00:42:06.440 --> 00:42:12.079
her best friend was feeling a new rush again. Oh yes,

517
00:42:12.760 --> 00:42:16.880
Olivia shrieked with her latest adrenaline high and rushed at

518
00:42:16.880 --> 00:42:20.559
the killer, much to the surprise of Colette and Red.

519
00:42:21.239 --> 00:42:27.679
The killer actually staggered back. Would an animatronic figure know

520
00:42:27.960 --> 00:42:31.559
to do that? Olivia collided with the figure and took

521
00:42:31.599 --> 00:42:35.280
it down. She fought with it for its axe. That

522
00:42:35.599 --> 00:42:39.320
was when Colette felt a new rush herself and moved

523
00:42:39.440 --> 00:42:42.840
to help Olivia. Her idea was to grab at the

524
00:42:42.840 --> 00:42:47.519
figure's head and rip it off. It couldn't navigate properly

525
00:42:47.599 --> 00:42:52.400
without its head, right. But when Colette grabbed the head,

526
00:42:53.800 --> 00:42:58.920
what she found herself? Falling back fast and landing on

527
00:42:58.960 --> 00:43:04.400
her backside. She saw she had in her hands. It's

528
00:43:04.480 --> 00:43:15.480
a mask. Then she heard Reid yell, Alicia, are you serious.

529
00:43:16.360 --> 00:43:19.880
Alicia grabbed and pushed hard on the axe handle to

530
00:43:20.000 --> 00:43:24.320
force Olivia off. Then she got to her feet. She

531
00:43:24.480 --> 00:43:28.639
looked like a faeral girl, with gleaming eyes that communicated

532
00:43:29.039 --> 00:43:31.920
she was nothing like when they had met her at

533
00:43:31.960 --> 00:43:37.840
Reed's house earlier. Why couldn't you have just followed the rules,

534
00:43:38.639 --> 00:43:43.599
Alicia yelled in a demented tone. But oh no, Olivia

535
00:43:43.840 --> 00:43:49.159
just can't be bothered to follow the rules, she laughed maniacally. Now,

536
00:43:50.000 --> 00:43:53.280
why didn't you listen when I told you that rules

537
00:43:53.960 --> 00:43:59.800
are rules? Alicia laughed again and swung the axe. We

538
00:44:00.119 --> 00:44:03.239
always try to teach the inmates at Erie City Asylum

539
00:44:03.440 --> 00:44:08.840
the importance of rules, But when they wouldn't listen, she

540
00:44:09.000 --> 00:44:14.159
laughed maniacally again, I just had to put them at peace.

541
00:44:14.840 --> 00:44:19.400
Plenty of ways to do it too, Maybe some extra drugs. Here,

542
00:44:20.079 --> 00:44:23.280
a pen in the eye, there, a little cyanide in

543
00:44:23.320 --> 00:44:27.840
their food, she swung the axe. You'd have thought the

544
00:44:27.880 --> 00:44:32.079
doctors themselves would have understood that, since they always stress

545
00:44:32.320 --> 00:44:38.280
the importance of rules, Alicia continued. But they didn't approve

546
00:44:38.400 --> 00:44:42.960
of my methods and had me locked up. Me even

547
00:44:43.000 --> 00:44:46.000
though the staff turned against me, I still believed in

548
00:44:46.039 --> 00:44:51.559
the importance of following, of following the rules. Even when

549
00:44:51.639 --> 00:44:54.960
I busted out and drove out this way, at least

550
00:44:55.039 --> 00:44:59.199
until the car broke down, Alicia swung the axe again.

551
00:45:00.119 --> 00:45:03.480
As long as I was here, I figured every place

552
00:45:03.559 --> 00:45:07.199
has rules to follow and needed to be strictly enforced.

553
00:45:07.920 --> 00:45:11.119
Even one of these babies here stresses the importance of

554
00:45:11.239 --> 00:45:16.440
rules and why they are to be followed. You chose

555
00:45:16.480 --> 00:45:21.400
not to follow the rules set forth by this attraction, Olivia,

556
00:45:21.559 --> 00:45:25.920
That's why you have to die. You're nothing but a

557
00:45:25.920 --> 00:45:31.159
trouble maker and a degenerate. When Alicia howled menacingly upon

558
00:45:31.400 --> 00:45:37.199
raising her axe, the group turned and ran I'm so sorry, Colette,

559
00:45:37.719 --> 00:45:41.679
Olivia said crazily. I just needed to feel the rush tonight.

560
00:45:42.039 --> 00:45:44.800
I needed it, especially after all the hell I went

561
00:45:44.840 --> 00:45:48.000
through at the university today with finding out I bombed

562
00:45:48.000 --> 00:45:51.199
and examined. I really studied my ass off for it.

563
00:45:52.000 --> 00:45:57.760
I just needed tonight. Olivia suddenly found herself taken down

564
00:45:57.920 --> 00:46:03.920
to the ground. Gotscha, Alicia shrieked, happily. Get off me,

565
00:46:04.039 --> 00:46:08.480
you crazy bitch, Olivia growled as she tried to fight

566
00:46:08.519 --> 00:46:13.440
her off. Alicia produced a syringe. Looks to me like

567
00:46:13.599 --> 00:46:19.199
you need some sedation. Olivia gasped when Alicia quickly injected

568
00:46:19.239 --> 00:46:22.599
her in the side of her neck. When Olivia quickly

569
00:46:22.679 --> 00:46:27.039
grew weak, Alicia sprang back to her feet and raised

570
00:46:27.079 --> 00:46:32.880
the axe. Now you'll get permanent sedation for breaking the rules,

571
00:46:33.679 --> 00:46:39.679
she laughed crazily. It's quiet time. Colette and Reed both

572
00:46:39.719 --> 00:46:45.360
screamed when Alicia easily sank the axe into Olivia again.

573
00:46:45.920 --> 00:46:50.119
She couldn't feel scared. Her rush was just too much

574
00:46:50.320 --> 00:46:53.519
of an addiction. We have to get out of here, Collette.

575
00:46:53.719 --> 00:46:58.800
Let's go, Red cried. Colette obeyed him, holding hands. They

576
00:46:58.920 --> 00:47:02.960
ran along the trail again. How long would it be

577
00:47:02.960 --> 00:47:06.880
before they got back to the main area itself. Spencer's

578
00:47:06.920 --> 00:47:11.159
farm was huge for a small village like Pendleton, but

579
00:47:11.239 --> 00:47:16.920
Colette was angry now Unfortunately that heavily influenced the addiction

580
00:47:17.079 --> 00:47:20.599
that had taken hold of her. She knew she couldn't

581
00:47:20.679 --> 00:47:25.599
just run away while Olivia had been killed. Colette, what

582
00:47:25.679 --> 00:47:30.079
are you doing? Reid demanded when she stopped suddenly and

583
00:47:30.199 --> 00:47:34.719
turned around. It wasn't long before Alicia had reached them,

584
00:47:35.079 --> 00:47:40.000
the axe still in her hands. We thought you were dead, Alicia,

585
00:47:40.760 --> 00:47:45.679
red yelled, exactly what I wanted you to see, she cheered.

586
00:47:46.480 --> 00:47:49.719
After I killed Press, I smeared his blood all over me,

587
00:47:50.280 --> 00:47:53.599
worked like a dream. But enough of that, you two

588
00:47:53.760 --> 00:47:58.199
still have to face punishment for breaking the rules. You

589
00:47:58.480 --> 00:48:03.320
broke the rules too, Colette stressed. You came with us, remember,

590
00:48:04.400 --> 00:48:08.599
only because you made me. Alicia yelled. But I'll make

591
00:48:08.679 --> 00:48:13.000
it right by punishing you two, Colette screamed. When she

592
00:48:13.079 --> 00:48:16.239
felt the strongest rush yet for what she was going

593
00:48:16.320 --> 00:48:19.599
to do, she ran right at Alicia and tackled her.

594
00:48:20.159 --> 00:48:22.920
Once she sat herself on Alicia to pin her to

595
00:48:22.960 --> 00:48:25.920
the ground, Colette managed to rip the axe from the

596
00:48:26.039 --> 00:48:29.960
maniac's hands. Then she started punching her in the face

597
00:48:30.599 --> 00:48:34.639
again and again. Though she couldn't see that well in

598
00:48:34.679 --> 00:48:38.880
the dark, she could feel her fists getting wet from

599
00:48:38.920 --> 00:48:44.519
making Alicia bleed. Colette's anger fueled her rush, making her

600
00:48:44.559 --> 00:48:48.840
blows on Alicia's face land harder and harder. She was

601
00:48:48.880 --> 00:48:52.480
in such a trance that she didn't even realize she

602
00:48:52.639 --> 00:48:56.440
was calling Alicia things she would never say under any

603
00:48:56.480 --> 00:49:01.079
normal circumstances. It was only when Read came up behind

604
00:49:01.159 --> 00:49:04.920
her and pulled her off that she was forced to stop.

605
00:49:05.440 --> 00:49:08.760
Colette growled and started to lunge away from him, but

606
00:49:08.840 --> 00:49:11.800
he wrapped his arms around her and wrangled her in.

607
00:49:12.760 --> 00:49:16.280
He couldn't believe how strong she was, but he managed

608
00:49:16.320 --> 00:49:20.800
to hold on to her. And then it suddenly happened.

609
00:49:21.840 --> 00:49:26.719
Colette and Red's lips had come together. That was more

610
00:49:26.800 --> 00:49:30.400
than enough to diffuse Colette as they gave in to

611
00:49:30.480 --> 00:49:36.119
their long suppressed feelings for each other. The kiss was

612
00:49:36.199 --> 00:49:40.880
long and passionate. When they finally came apart, they didn't

613
00:49:40.920 --> 00:49:44.679
say a word to each other. Colette let Red take

614
00:49:44.719 --> 00:49:50.000
her hand. From there, they walked the trail for several

615
00:49:50.039 --> 00:49:54.840
long minutes. The reunited couple finally reached the main area

616
00:49:55.039 --> 00:49:58.480
of Spencer's farm. Read and Colette looked at each other

617
00:49:58.559 --> 00:50:03.599
again in the grow lights that illuminated the area. While

618
00:50:03.599 --> 00:50:06.119
they had lost the rest of their friends to an

619
00:50:06.239 --> 00:50:11.960
escaped inmate from Erie City Asylum, they had each other again.

620
00:50:13.000 --> 00:50:17.280
Reid was ready to kiss Collette when Hey, what are

621
00:50:17.320 --> 00:50:19.440
you kids doing coming out of the trail like that?

622
00:50:20.400 --> 00:50:24.760
A man suddenly called out in a Southern accent. Old

623
00:50:24.800 --> 00:50:29.159
man Spencer himself was evident now, suffice to say he

624
00:50:29.239 --> 00:50:33.920
wasn't looking too thrilled at seeing them like this. You kids,

625
00:50:33.920 --> 00:50:36.119
get off your wagon. When the driver told you not to,

626
00:50:36.920 --> 00:50:40.960
he snapped. Then he shook his head quickly. I got

627
00:50:40.960 --> 00:50:42.760
a good mind to call the police and have him

628
00:50:42.920 --> 00:50:47.159
lock you up. He shook his head again quickly. You

629
00:50:47.239 --> 00:50:49.639
know what, Just get back in your car and get

630
00:50:49.679 --> 00:50:53.159
off my property. The Pendleton Haunted Hey Ride is closed

631
00:50:53.320 --> 00:50:57.239
for the season. He pointed past them to the gravel

632
00:50:57.280 --> 00:51:01.760
parking lot. Move it. The sound of a tractor starting

633
00:51:02.039 --> 00:51:06.239
got their attention fast. Old Man Spencer turned around to

634
00:51:06.320 --> 00:51:09.559
see one of the big tractors coming back out of

635
00:51:09.559 --> 00:51:13.360
the barn. What the heck are you doing, Spencer yelled,

636
00:51:13.840 --> 00:51:17.480
All the tractors are put away. The tractor turned and

637
00:51:17.559 --> 00:51:21.079
came at them. The driver wore a cowboy hat that

638
00:51:21.239 --> 00:51:24.880
covered their facial features. Read and Collette were about to

639
00:51:24.960 --> 00:51:30.280
run when Spencer moved toward the tractor, pointing repeatedly and

640
00:51:30.440 --> 00:51:35.360
yelling at the driver. Unfortunately for old man Spencer, the

641
00:51:35.440 --> 00:51:40.280
driver never had any intention of stopping. The owner of

642
00:51:40.320 --> 00:51:44.480
that tractor and the farm screamed as he was being

643
00:51:44.599 --> 00:51:49.840
run over. Even more unfortunate for Spencer, this tractor had

644
00:51:49.880 --> 00:51:54.960
the belly mower attached. The driver stopped and lowered it

645
00:51:55.079 --> 00:52:01.480
on top of him, causing blood, skin, bones, brains, clothing,

646
00:52:01.760 --> 00:52:04.920
and whatever else the blades were able to extract. In

647
00:52:05.000 --> 00:52:11.800
the maddening singular circular motion, Spencer's screaming had only been

648
00:52:11.880 --> 00:52:19.199
heard momentarily. The driver sat there, not moving for several seconds.

649
00:52:20.199 --> 00:52:23.159
Finally they moved a hand to raise the cowboy hat

650
00:52:23.239 --> 00:52:28.880
up to reveal Alicia. Her face was still battered and

651
00:52:28.960 --> 00:52:32.639
bloody from Colette's beating. She didn't seem to be too

652
00:52:32.760 --> 00:52:38.000
upset about it, however, when her eyes brightened and she smiled,

653
00:52:38.960 --> 00:52:43.960
howdy neighbors, Alicia cried happily, and welcome to the Pendleton

654
00:52:44.039 --> 00:52:48.920
Haunted hay Ride again. And now let me go over

655
00:52:49.000 --> 00:52:55.440
the rules, because rules are rules. The couple could only

656
00:52:55.519 --> 00:53:00.519
speculate what Alicia's rules would be when she produced double

657
00:53:00.519 --> 00:53:05.000
barreled shotgun and aimed it at them. Rule number one,

658
00:53:05.840 --> 00:53:11.639
Alicia announced, before squeezing the first trigger, catching reed between

659
00:53:11.679 --> 00:53:12.199
the eyes.

660
00:53:13.960 --> 00:53:14.039
No.

661
00:53:16.280 --> 00:53:22.079
Colette shrieked, and rule number two was the last thing

662
00:53:22.639 --> 00:53:33.880
Colette heard when Alicia squeezed the second trigger, and that

663
00:53:34.239 --> 00:53:39.360
my Spookies was Halloween Haunted hay Ride by rob Fields,

664
00:53:39.760 --> 00:53:42.960
proof that a good time on the farm can still

665
00:53:43.119 --> 00:53:47.639
end in a scream or two. Remember when someone says

666
00:53:47.840 --> 00:53:53.280
don't get off the wagon, maybe just maybe take their advice.

667
00:53:53.880 --> 00:53:59.599
After all, rules are rules. But don't wander too far

668
00:53:59.760 --> 00:54:03.960
into the woods just yet, because tomorrow we're heading deep

669
00:54:04.039 --> 00:54:08.599
into one of the creepiest forests ever committed to film

670
00:54:08.840 --> 00:54:13.519
the Blair Witch Project. On cutting Deep into Horror, We'll

671
00:54:13.559 --> 00:54:17.039
be breaking down the myths, the madness, and whyat still

672
00:54:17.119 --> 00:54:21.400
makes you afraid to camp after dark, So make sure

673
00:54:21.400 --> 00:54:25.159
you're subscribed. You will not want to miss a lively

674
00:54:25.280 --> 00:54:31.239
discussion about a very deadly film. And also this Saturday,

675
00:54:31.679 --> 00:54:37.440
