A Few Cold Ones — New Year’s Eve Beer-Festival Slasher Horror

An escaped mass murderer crashes Oklahoma’s largest New Year’s Eve beer festival, turning a haunted hotel celebration into a fresh holiday slaughter.

Maggie Mills and her friends arrive at the historic Springer Hotel for Brew Year’s Eve: thousands of guests, flowing beer, fireworks, and rooms with a reputation for ghosts. The real danger is Otis Kilgore, newly escaped from the Cerletti Institute and eager to revisit the violence that made him a local legend. As the countdown continues, Otis moves through the crowd, hotel corridors, and hidden bootlegger tunnels with a knife and his unmistakable giggle.

David O’Hanlon’s holiday slasher blends New Year’s revelry, true-crime-style local mythology, dark humor, and a final girl forced to fight through a landmark soaked in blood. The party promises cold beer and midnight fireworks; Otis plans to supply the body count.
