All I Want for Christmas — A Stolen Doll and a Cemetery Ghost

A desperate father steals the season’s most wanted doll from a child’s grave, then learns that its dead owner refuses to spend Christmas without her friend.

Jebediah Hawkins works as a cemetery groundskeeper and wants to give his daughter the one present no store can keep in stock: a Tressy doll. When he sees one buried with a six-year-old girl, love and desperation overpower his conscience. On Christmas Eve he opens the coffin, tears the doll from the child’s hands, and carries it home. At midnight, the wind rises, the house freezes, and a ghost arrives to reclaim what belongs to her.

Morgan Moore’s holiday ghost story turns gift-giving pressure into graveyard horror. The stolen toy is not cursed in the usual sense; it is loved, and that devotion makes the spirit behind it far more dangerous than Jebediah imagined.
